Dr. Itoro Udo is an accomplished psychiatrist whose formative years were spent in Anua, Nigeria, where he was inspired by his parents’ commitment to health service. After graduating with merit from the University of Nigeria in 2000, Dr. Udo’s early medical career included working in the very mission hospital where he was raised and later in his father’s practice. His specialist training in psychiatry began in 2006 in Kilkenny, Ireland, and he further honed his skills across the UK and North East England, culminating in advanced qualifications in Adult Psychiatry and a Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry by 2013.
Throughout his career, Dr. Udo has provided high-level psychiatric care in various settings, from acute hospital environments to community-based programs in England and Ontario, Canada. His academic role as an Adjunct Professor at Western University allows him to shape the next generation of mental health professionals, blending clinical practice with medical education.
